At the NYPD Clay Target Team (Team 911), we take great pride in providing a vehicle for interaction, socialization and education in the clay target shooting sports among first responders, military veterans, youth and the general public.
Not only do we promote sportsmanship, camaraderie and good will to clay shooting sports participants — both nationally and internationally — but the safe handling, use and respect of firearms to our nation’s youth as well.
Bring people together
Provide a vehicle for interaction, socialization and education in the shooting sports among first responders, military veterans, youth and the general public.
Compete with goodwill
Promote sportsmanship, camaraderie and goodwill with the public while participating in clay target sports, both nationwide and internationally.
Teach firearm safety
Introduce and provide education in the safe handling, use and respect of firearms to our nation’s youth through programs participating in clay target sports.
Keep the memory
Promote the memory of the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001 through educational presentations and exhibits contained within the Team 911 mobile trailer.
On the road
The Team 911 mobile trailer
The trailer is the classroom, the equipment truck and the memorial all in one. It travels to shoots, community days and youth events across the country carrying gear, instruction and the 9/11 exhibits that keep the story in front of a new generation.

Every event Team 911 shoots carries the same purpose that drives Tunnel to Towers: honoring the first responders and service members who gave everything, and standing with the families they left behind.
Their mark rides on the trailer, on the team shirts and at every registration table the team sets up.
